The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Let's see...On the plus side: great musical ideas, great arrangements, lots of potential. On the downside: lyrics too cheesy, songs are lacking a bit of length: they always kind of fall short. There are great riffs, but the songs need more development. overall, very interesting: let's see what comes next. 7/10
